2008 Isuzu Ascender 4dr SUV

285-horsepower 4.2L I6 4-speed automatic RWD

74000 mi

US $80
Crappy GM speakers quit , had to replace both back speakers , front is also going so those will get replaced soon also.
74500 mi

US $75
Replaced both front speakers which both crapped out . They must use $2 chinese speakers for standard equipment. Have replaced all 4 now , suspect I will have no more problems with that.
124000 mi TPMS sensors supposedly bad even though I had replaced them all 1.5 years ago . Dealer said they couldn't talk to them so they replaced all 4 year. 10 minutes into drive home the tpms light comes back on. Took it back, they supposedly relearned them, same thing happens again. they could not fix it talking about replacing LGM for hundreds, uh no.  I took it home found out what fuses fed the LGM pulled them for 5 minutes and reinserted and TPMS light has been out ever since . Consequently I believe I believe I got screwed out of $270 for sensors that did not need to be replaced, the liftgate module just needed to be rebooted.
160000 mi

US $311
Replaced all 4 TPMS sensors which is a useless feature and expensive to fix .

2004 Isuzu Ascender 4dr SUV

275-horsepower 4.2L I6 4-speed automatic RWD

24000 mi

US $3
Rear drivers side running light/turn signal burnt out. Based upon my experience this is a recurring problem with GM truck wiring harnesses. Notice how many GM built trucks and SUVs have a burnt out tail light.
29500 mi

US $39
Low beam headlights failed. High beams and fog lights worked OK. Traced the problem via internet and discovered others experiencing same problem had been able to cure it by switching low beam and fan relays. Did this and cured problem.
33700 mi

US $250
Heat/air not working properly. Air won't cool until car gets up to about 20 mph. Radio has lost right channel? Typical GM crap
42000 mi

US $65
mode valve actuator stuck after installing battery and Air would not blow through dash vents. Replaced actuator. This is a defective part and this problem tends to occur on all Trailblazers, Envoys, Raniers, & Ascenders.
58000 mi

US $450
Passenger side of speaker system went out.
