Photos of a black car fail to capture the F-Type's beauty. People love the look of this car. Corvette's exterior is much more aggressive. Black vents don't stand out as much with dark gray.
This F-Type V8 is fitted with one of the 20-inch wheel designs. XJ-S introduced in 1975 longer and lower than new F-Type.
Athletic proportions are clearly those of a two-seater. More subtle than the Corvette, but still plenty of drama in the body side surfacing.
Top stows quickly and cleanly. Wind deflector between fixed roll bars. Corvette has bulkier rear end.
Shapely rear fenders. V8 has quad exhaust. The F-Type loves winding two-lane roads. V6 has a pair of centrally mounted exhausts.
$1,925 Extended Leather Pack covers the instrument panel and windshield frame with stitched hides. Quality look and feel to the controls. Touchscreen not the most user-friendly.
Optional performance seat has larger, power-adjustable side bolsters. Pack lightly, the trunk holds only seven cubic feet. And no rear seat for extra cargo.
Hood opens forward to reveal...an engine cover. V6 plenty powerful. Water-to-air intercooler dominates view with engine cover removed.
