Car had the clutch go,constant reving,hand brake that never worked despite full renewal,3 door locks snapped,regular light bulb blow outs,broken seat belts...worst car ever had before head gasket blow out in August made me see sense and scrap it.

2007 Kia Carens 4-door

6000 mi Excessive Urban Fuel Consumption. Unsuccessful repair.  Engine Management Light came on. Dealer states the fault code shows a problem with the Particulate Filter Cleaning Process which cleared itself automatically. 
23000 mi Engine Management Light came on. Dealer states the fault code shows a problem with the particulate filter cleaning process. Ongoing problem for over 1 month. Excessive Urban Fuel Consumption. Unsuccessful repair. Ongoing Problem 
28000 mi DPF system was faulty (believed faulty from new), new 1 ordered at a cost to Kia of £2,500 & fitted under manufacturers warranty. Warning light now out, car drives more smoothly, fuel consumption checks in progress for report next month. 
37000 mi Exhaust fumes entering the car, dealer checked all brackets & mountings but no defect found, symptoms still exist, car booked in for 40k service where it will be looked at again. 
44000 mi When the dealer replaced the DPF system it is believed they damaged the front flexi exhaust pipe which led to fumes entering the cabin, this was changed & no further problems. KIA UK paid me compensation for time vor & supplied a courtesy car.
