Transmission is stuttering. It only shows when driving the car with a computer attached. There are no codes except when driving. Dealer cannot say what the problem is. Said to keep driving but not go too far. Said that there is a software upgrade that might fix the problem but advised against it.

The transmission was hard shifting down into 1st gear when slowing down to stop. Felt like the breaks were being slammed when slowing down to stop (10mph and below). The shop replaced the transmission with a newer used unit. Problem was less noticeable but still there. Also noticed rough shifts from 2nd-3rd and 3rd-4th after the replacement.
