2022 Lexus RX 4dr SUV

295-horsepower 3.5L V6 8-speed shiftable automatic AWD

260 mi Purchased a new 2022 Lexus RX350 from a Lexus dealership in Louisville, KY. The vehicle had 8 miles on it. Within the first 10 minutes of driving it the next day after bringing it home from the dealer, the 'check engine' light went on and multiple messages displayed on the instrument panel including 'Parking Support Brake Malfunction' and 'AWD System Malfunction. 2WD Mode Engaged.' I immediately pulled over and called the local Knoxville dealer. I brought the car in and they determined that this was caused by a 'Failed 02 sensor. Code P013614.' They replaced the sensor and we'll just wait to see how it goes. But, I certainly never expected to have the car in the repair shop immediately after buying it. During the purchase, the salesperson said the only time this car will see the inside of a repair shop was when we were getting an oil change. Ha! Most reliable vehicle on the road? I don't think so, Lexus. Let's hope I didn't end up with a lemon. Very disappointed.

144000 mi (Very detailed TSB on this issue.) High pressure oil cooling line routed next to exhaust manifold blew. Vehicle did not signal a problem although empty of oil. Driven 20+ miles eating bearings. Lexus replaced cheap lines, not ruined engine. Lexus of Lansing / Spartan Toyota apparently has a service manager looking for a Lexus promotion, and Lexus Regional Rep. with significant hearing problem as they cannot hear engine knocking as a result of running the vehicle with no oil. Lexus of Lansing / Spartan Toyota was paid by Lexus to inspect oil. They refused to hear the obvious engine knock reported & recorded "Cold Start Knocking" of the engine due to bearing failure from TSB paid repair.
