Cabin panels rattles creaks "excessively" according to tech. From Dash, door, A pillar , Instrument guage cluster cowl, middle control stack. Repairs were done dealer said it would be a work in progress. Most noises is better but some remain

Rear bumper cover misalignment. Shop attempted to align bumper cover but did a poor job. Broke tail light assembley and had to order replacement which took two extra days. Claimed to diagnose wind noise and stated it was normal.
The door panels make a squeaking sound; all 4 door panels. A repair was attempted, however, the noise remains. The finish on the wheels began to develop white spots.
The vehicle model badging was coming off.
Panoramic Sunroof got stuck. Had to replace the whole unit under warranty.

Defective MB-Tex material. All seat covers and headrests had to be replaced. Unfortunately, not all seat parts were replaced and problem came back, so car has to go back again. Rear bumper cover poorly fit. Had to be shimmed to line up properly with fender. Sunroof shade sagging and looks unsightly. Could not be fixed.
Wind noise from drivers side front door. They attempted to fix it but the noise is still there.

replaced passenger make up mirror. replaced chrome lining around drink holder. replaced several window buttons. replaced driver side lower leather as it was tearing.
Vertical trim piece beside windshield on drivers side developed a bubbling of the finish at the top end. Apparently its a plastic film, not paint. Dealer replaced with new piece. Waited for the car, took about 2 hours.
The diverter in the driver's side air vent broke. You couldn't adjust the flow of air to the left or right. This occurred when the car was detailed by the dealer but I didn't discover it until a week later when I tried to change the position There is a wind whistle on the driver's side window when traveling at freeway speeds. The dealer believes this is standard wind noise but it's not.
C200 have bad smell for years after bought(2009). Took it to the dealer, dealer have been noticed by manufactory the main carpet is the reason for it. Had the dealer replace it. As far as I know, this happened to all 09 C series in China.
Head lights turning yellow, very opaque. Used PlastiX Mequires brand and sand paper in 3 stages to clean, and finally a rotary buffer to finish off.
Rattle / vibration from area of the flip up sat nav screen. Esp noticeable when in closed position. Dealer did not reference this on repair report but verbally told me tightened something up. NOT FIXED AT ALL!
Rattle from flip up command screen area. Dealer atated that they followed TSB for the same and placed some additional padding???.

The sunroof was making a loud click when shut. The slider was broken.
I noticed some stains on the rims that looked like corrosion. Mercedes declined the responsability saying that it should be caused by some external cause, which I know its not possible.
I will pay the reparation myself and, from now no more Mercedes.
Interior driver's side door handle broke, door could only be opened by opening window and reaching outside top use exterior door handle (very embarassing in a 2 yr old $50k car. Dealer ordered part and repaired.
Leatherette seat cover cracked. Replaced under warranty.

Bonnet star emblem corroded ...replaced. Drivers side wheel emblem wheel centre white opaque film on edge ....replaced. Black plastic strip on roof had rough edges ...replaced.
Glove Box opened way too far. Problem was that the cord brass clamp had broken attachment to the damper which allowed the glove box to fall. Repaired by creating the loop with an electrical wire clamp .
Chrome trim piece was loose. Bracket was broken and they ordered a new one. Rubber stop for radio panel cover fell out. Part was ordered by dealer.

folding side mirrors squeak when moving. Initially reported one year ago but dealer said it was fine. Problem persisted and convinced dealer to fix it on this trip.
Other than standard intro maintence, we noticed a rattle in what appears to be the exhaust only when cold and first started. Dealer could not find, so we will get together with the chief mechanic after the holidays.
Sunroof stutter and rattle fixed, though new rattle introduced in the sunroof cover when opened fully.

Intermittent rattles (i) in driver-side window (disappears if window slightly open) and (ii) from instrument panel. Shop "could not replicate" but offered to go on a trip with driver when the driver has the time.

Dashboard rattle. Fixed by disassembling, reattaching wiring harness and lining up with felt. Cracked (not torn) driver's seat cover (MB TEX). Seat cushion and cover replaced under warranty. Sunroof making strange noises when opening. Had gone off its tracks, fixed (realigned/lubed) under warranty. Driver-side window rattle under cold weather conditions. Weather was warm, dealer could not replicate.
Recurring rattle in the sunroof (seems to be an annual issue, take a year or so to develop). Repair was successful for roof. Recurring rattle in dashboard (instruments binnacle, pops up on harsh roads every 6 months or so). This one returned two days after the repair.

crack in driver's seat MBTex cover. had a crack at the same place after 3 years of ownership, it is back -- same type of crack, same place.
Fogging in headlights (Xenon) - MB states this is 'normal'

Failed to replicate a rattle. Spent $1000 for service and all 4 tires replaced.
Snaps on chrome plastic bezel surrounding shifter broke, causing shifter to move around. Research indicates that this is a fairly common issue. Solution is to buy a whole new shifter cover assembly or repair it with paper clips.
Car had a very annoying squeak under dashboard on driver's side. Also, the trim/track on driver's side window tore allowing excess wind noise and water to leak in. Squeaks were caused by loose/broken clips. Covered by warranty. Annoying squeak was being heard under the driver side dash when driving over rough roads. Ended up being degraded clips behind the dash.

Wood trim around gear shifter is cracking. Mercedes dealer told this is normal because of enivronmental conditions and not covered under warranty. We believe poor workmanship and this is the last Mercedes we buy.
The driver door seal was replaced due to excessive road noise. Parts & Labour of $300. Problem solved.

Sunroof would only retract 2" and stop. Left rail was broken. Left and right rails replaced and lubed by independent Mecedes-only repair shop (and they are authorized to make warranty repairs). Sunroof now works like new.
Another car was backing out and hit side of our car. Insurance repaired side panel and replaced headlamp. Paid to have other headlamp replaced since lens was badly yellowed.
The main cable in the panoramic roof snapped. Initial estimated repair was $1200 (mostly labor). Opted to leave it closed and inoperable for right now. Option to repair it at a later service.
Sunroof broke last yr..repaired..broke again last month...told it's a new problem--involves replacing several motor parts-cost $2,000+.inside rear slider piece open..exposed to sun..will be roasting this summer.Very disappointed in car--many repairs
Sunroof continued to come off track. They replaced at this incredible fee ($9000). Then it went out again and they said something else was wrong. Did not honor warrenty. and this is at Dealer. They refused to call me back.
Sunroof cartridge failure, with a 3 inch spring ejected. Did not fix.
