As current front end's go, this one isn't unattractive. Sophisticated, even? The Eclipse Cross appears much more current than other Mitsubishi crossovers.
The Hyundai has cleaner styling. Both it and the Mitsubishi need large wheels to look good. The belt line (base of the side windows) has a sporty upward rake.
The larger Mitsubishi Outlander has much less athletic proportions and appeared dated even when new. A distinctive rear end. Possibly the look Pontiac was aiming for with the Aztek, but much better.
At first glance, a stylish, au courant interior. But some materials feel downscale. Cleaner styling inside the Hyundai as well. Boring?
Packed full of features--but so are competitors. Lexus-like infotainment interface manages to be even worse than the original.
Not much cargo area with the seat up beneath the slanted rear gate. Still less than competitors with the rear seats folded.
Just another black plastic engine cover. An all-new engine, this 1.5T is neither powerful nor especially efficient.
