Parking brake bracket broke off (unkown reason) and brake cable wrapped itself around drive shaft pulling the drive shaft out of the differential at 50km/h. This dangerous failure stopped the vehicle instantly. Lucky no one was hurt or killed. Differential fluid leaked into the rear brake shoes as well. New drive shaft, new brake shoes installed. e-brake cable bracket welded back into place. Both exhaust manifolds were cracked. Known issue with Armadas. Repaired under 5 year warranty ($4200).
