There was a problem inside the door that caused the seatbelt to break over time. They issued a recall to fix that problem, but not the seat belt itself. So if you knew about the recall and could get it fixed before the seat belt broke, great. Otherwise you needed them to replace the recalled part, but still needed to fix the seat belt on your dime. I replaced the belt myself. |
