6-speed manual FWD		 The fuel economy is amazing for a fairly large sedan. I can amek 38 mpg on back rural roads if I really tried. Driving "normally" on the same roads I acheive a consistant 34 mpg. 6-speed manual FWD		 Not the greatest, and requires premium. The dealer will weasel this, but 50k miles down the road, you will see why premium was required. That a 10% of better hit on fuel costs. see full Volkswagen CC review
