3000 mi In addition to the steering rack problem (times 3) I now have a major leak on the passenger floorboard when it rains heavy. I will let you know if they fix it - the car is once again in the dealer shop for another week.

18000 mi A plastic piece on the trunk lid mysteriously cracked. It was replace --had to be ordered - as the car was under warranty with no questions asked. 
10000 mi Poorly fitting drivers seat trim piece that also holds power seat controls. Part was replaced. 
11000 mi Getting a rattle from the rear passenger area. Tech checked it out, tightened the high rear brake lamp, and said that was all he could find. Rattle is still there. 
25500 mi VW certified off lease purchase. New tires, looks like new brake pads, etc. Noticed a deep scratch in drivers window inside surface a couple of days after buying it. Can't tint widows w. Dealer is going to get back to me on repair or replace

16800 mi When opening rear passenger door after rain, big splash of water comes out. Dealership service department found TSB and modified door seal drains according to TSB. They said it was TSB# 2021668. 
29700 mi water inside passenger rear door seal after rain. seal still works. seal was removed, inspected then re-installed, not sure if problem is resolved yet. 
9000 mi Rear door seal allowing water to collect on sill (known problem). Dealer realigned seal but this only partly allayed the problem. 
30000 mi The rear door seals came off for the 5th time and both back windows seals leak big time alowing water in. the rear light needed replacing again. Major issue for south florida and out rain everyday in the summer. 
35000 mi The seals around the rear doors all leaked and there was mildew build up on the driver seat belt pilar etc etc
