Then... about a week later, when traveling very slow speed, as in a parking lot, heard a slight rattle or knocking sound starting again. Really?!?! Only audible when going slow over some less-than-smooth pavement. I do like the car overall, but I need reliability more than anything and refuse to pay out of pocket for a rental car on a $30,000+ car with less than 10,000 miles and plagued with factory defects. So... back again to the dealer and possibly contact VW of America. Same rattling sound from driver's side front (sounds like suspension malice not previously fixed. Different dealership. Mechanic said didn't hear it... nothing done. No provisions for a loaner. Decided to return to closer dealership since this one would not even shuttle me home (beyond 10 miles). Rattled the whole way home. Will make appt. with other VW dealer again (only 2 in my area). | ||
