hello Mike we\'re considering a Sienna or Highlander, ride comfort/quietness/smoothness is the first priority. I made the mistake of getting a 2014 Avalon without a thorough test drive and the ride has proven downright harsh over bumps (the car has 18s). anyway, we are going to replace the Avalon with either the sienna or highlander, leaning towards the sienna but would greatly appreciate your input. best wishes for the holidays phil

I just noticed this, and don\'t know how long it\'s been here. It\'s a good question for My Next Car?, and vaguely remember discussing this elsewhere, either there or in an email. I also did not like the ride quality in the 2013-2015 Avalon. For 2016 they\'ve supposedly improved it. Do you also need the extra space in a Highlander or Sienna? If not, you can find a better riding sedan than the Avalon.

Hi Mike, Before I post any comments on the cars I have owned within past 40 years I would like to thank you for your dedication for this organisation. I have been living in Toronto, Canada since 1975. I have owned VW, GM, Chrysler Town & Country, Lexus RX 300, Lexus GX470, Audi Q7, Mercedes GLK, Lincoln MKX and Lincoln MKC. I had lots of problems with Town & Country. Few problems with Lexus SUVs. and 2007 Audi Q7. Some serious issues with 2010 Mecedes GLK. I was fairly satisfied with 2011 Lincoln MKX. That is the reason I got the 2015 MKC. My wife liked my MKC and traded her 2012 Lexus RX330 with 2017 MKC. Lincoln dealer has provided the best service. Your review of 2015 MKC is raising concerns. I will be watching your reviews closely on small SUVs for 2018. Thanks.
