Old map data was erased when the new maps started downloading. The car had to be moved near a strong Wi-Fi network and then I had to call the technician to have her remotely force the car to start the download again. My guess is that someone remotely fixed something, but I didn't get any communication from Tesla to confirm it and wouldn't have even noticed that it was fixed if I hadn't been driving the car the night before the appointment. |
