Why the 2006 Chevrolet HHR?

Price or payments

I bought this car from a dealership for approximately the "trade in" value, well below the retail value.

Exterior styling

The car has a trendy "retro" look without being "cute".

Fuel economy

Fuel economy on my commute is running about 27.5, which is fairly good for a 3200 lb. vehicle.

Cargo capacity

Not towing, actually, but the wagon body has a lot of room behind the rear seat, and the seat folds flat. Additionally, the front passenger seat folds forward enough to carry very long items.

Brand reputation & image

I have owned 5 Chevrolets, and every one has been very reliable.

Why Not the 2006 Chevrolet HHR?

Driving position & visibility

The back window is narrow, requiring me to adjust the side mirrors to aim straighter back than I would like; I bought stick-on blind-spot mirrors to compensate.

Audio & nav systems

The stock radio has very poor reception.
