Nov 2010 US $33 Diagnosis for P1870 code (Transmission component slipping). Possible Problems: bad torque converter, valve body worn, worn pressure valve. Rebuilt transmission (4L60E) and new torque converter (stock stall speed) ordered. 
Aug 2011   MIL for P0327 and P0332 - Knock Sensors out of range. Replaced both knock sensors and wire harness. While troubleshooting P0327 and P0332 codes, diagnostic path indicated a PCM problem. Replaced and reprogrammed PCM.

Jul 2011 US $150 The alternator went bad... Replaced alternator. 
Jun 2014   AC Belt Idler puller. 
Oct 2014   Water Pump was leaking. Replaced water pump. 
Apr 2015   Clunking noise... Replace front passenger side wheel hub.

Sep 2010 US $1700 Needed driver's side CV axle replaced. In shop found bad wheel bearings, tie rods, lower ball joints. Replaced all, also replaced all 4 worn out tires with new. 
Jun 2011   Bad u-joints on the front driveshaft. 
Jul 2012   One of the front brake lines blew out on me during a panic stop and I had to replumb the entire front half of the truck. 
Dec 2012   Front driveshaft front u-joint broke which caused the driveshaft to separate from the front differential and put the truck into 2wd only. 
Sep 2014   Rear brake line rotted out. Had to repalce all rear hard lines.

Jul 2009 US $40 Replaced plugged orifice tube in A/C. Recharged A/C system. 
Dec 2009   starter suddenly stopped working 
Jan 2010   Heater stopped heating. Needed heat in January when temp was -20' - flushed heater and replaced hoses. Now heats well. 
Sep 2012   replaced belts and tensioners and idler pulley. Fixing this also solved a longstanding problem with tha AC. 
Sep 2014   One caliper froze up. I also replaced both brake hoses and pads While replacing the caliper I decided to replace both front wheel hubs to fix the abs. While bleeding brake from earlier repair the rear brake line burst from excesive rust. Changing this line was more troublesome and time consuming than replacing the front brakes and wheel hubs because of limited clearance to the conector

Aug 2011 C $255 all 4 shocks worn out, replaced all shocks both rear view mirrors cracked, replaced both mirrors

Dec 2010 US $800 Fuel pump failed while driving. The truck was towed to a shop and the pump was replaced.  
Apr 2011   Engine developed a coolant leak through one of the head gaskets. Heads needed to be removed to fix.  Additionally, large portions of brake line were replaced due to rusting. 
Jan 2012   Emergency brake would not hold the truck on a hill. The cables had stretched too far to be adjusted. 
Jun 2012   Coolant temp gauge was reading high. The shop changed the thermostat, but the problem remained. Further diagnosis revealed that the gauge is not correctly reporting the temperature from the sensor.

Feb 2011 US $2800 same problem as always. check engine light comes on truck starts to cut out. running real rough and dies, will not start, has to be towed. let sit for a couple of days and will run good for awhile. then starts all over again.. 
Jun 2011   Never could fix cutting out problem. Spent about $2,800 trying.

Mar 2012 US $100 All brake lines rusty and some starting to leak fluid. Removed the problematic antilock brake system pump completely and installed all new hydraulic lines from master cylinder to calipers. Works great now. 
Apr 2012   All 4 rotors rusted so badly they had to be replaced. Rear calipers were problematic (sticking, not releasing pad pressure) and they were also replaced. Front calipers still ok. 
Jul 2012   Slow leak in a/c system, pressure low and compressor stopped engaging. Added approx. 16 oz. of R134a to get pressures back to normal and a/c is working normally again. 
Sep 2012   Engine lost power and began popping (backfiring) through air intake system. On interstate, got towed to a Ford shop where they disconnected the faulty mass airflow sensor to put the engine in 'limp' mode to drive the final 600 miles home. 
Oct 2012   Replaced fuel pump module due to failing pump. Car still would run and drive but would crank for some time before it would start. Installed an OEM Delphi brand pump module, I'm a mechanic so only cost incurred was for the part. 
Dec 2013   Both u-joints replaced on rear drive shaft.
