Default in Body Control Module would not allow car to start on temps below 40 degree. New BCM installed; no issues Dundee that time.
AC fan making loud noise intermittently. Sounds like something stuck in it. Very loud snapping or cracking sound behind instrument display panel. Rarely happens, but very noticeable when it does. Seems to be tied into AC system/duct work.
Fan motor stopped working. Motor replaced by dealer
Heat/A-C fan making loud noise & causing Center console to vibrate. Fan removed & inspected. Large hickory tree nut found stuck in fan.
Cruise control stopped working. Dealer reset by disconnecting battery. Cruise control stopped working again, reset at home by disconnecting battery. Then cruise went out again & service engine light on, deal check shows no codes. States it must be a "ghost gauge" issue. Reflashed computer. Cruise out & engine service light on again. Dealer said bring it in & get new computer module installed. owner reset by disconnecting battery for 5 minutes.
Traded car in for something new to get rid of obvious problem car.
Bluetooth call module was inop, was warranty repaired
Had issues with a high-pitched whine coming from the dash LCD display. Had to have console display replaced.
USB piece of the multimedia drive inside the armrest was malfunctioning, causing it to become incapable of reading a thumbdrive because of lack of connectivity.
Service airbag system light came on. Took to the dealer, but they couldn't find any problem. Reset the code for now. Light came back on a couple times since, but is currently off and has been for over a month.
System reported a low voltage error. Dealer checked battery, vehicle voltage and reset the check engine light. Has been fine since.
Replaced Air Bag Module after System Air Bag Light returned. Replaced Driver Side Curtain Air Bag
Replacement of the airbag module (I believe this was
the second time it was replaced). It also had a sensor for the headlight replaced while it was in there and was serviced for a recall on a torque bolt. In auto headlights wouldn't turn off.
Screen would cut out - Bluetooth no longer functioned.
Touch Screen went blank and then rebooted. Dealer order new radio system. Known issue with other Darts.
Touch screen has continued to shut off and reboot on a weekly basis. Dealer replaced radio during the last trip, but problem persists. Waiting for Chrysler to provide solution.
Radio replaced. Seems to work fine now.
U connect stopped working-currently frozen in a load mode.. Now the back-up camera malfunctioned and stayed on after driving forward, then the screen went blank for 5 minutes until it rebooted. U-connect still frozen after a week.
Touch screen rebooted itself 4X in the last month.
Dealer verified problem and has ordered new touch screen. Update: Dealer has received new parts. Going in Jan 7, 2015 to have them installed.
They replaced a heat sensor and the problem cleared up for 2 months only to return recently.
