May 2006 100 New intermediate steering shaft to fix steering clunk 
Mar 2007 0 Fix steering clunk again by disconnecting intermediate steering shaft and fully extending and retracting a bit, then re-connecting. 
Jan 2008 89000 500 4x4 transfer case had a hole in the housing, caused by broken anti-rattle clip that allowed the steel pump to rub against the softer magnesium housing. Well-known problem that affects higher mileage non-HD GMT-800 trucks. 
Nov 2008 106000 5 Problem with 4x4 transfer case pump rubbing a hole in the external housing re-appeared. It wore through the JB Weld patch after about 11 months. Re-applied JB Weld. Will have to replace pump and get new half of the t-case housing next time it happens.  
Apr 2009 119000 300 Bad left front wheel bearing. Replaced pads and rotors at same time. Replaced pads and rotors at same time. 
Aug 2009 128000 10 4x4 Transfer case pump wore another hole in the housing. Patched with JB Weld, ordered new rear case half and a part that will prevent the problem from happening again for install in the next couple weeks. 
Sep 2009 135000 450 Installed parts to fix transfer case pump rub issue. 
Jun 2011 181000 300 Oil pressure sending unit was bad and would report no oil pressure at RPM's above 3,000. 
Mar 2012 204000 0 Passenger side AC blowing hot air, driver side started blowing hot air as well. Problem only happened occasionally. Research showed blend door issue. Tried reset trick involving pulling fuse while system on. So far problem has resolved 
Jul 2012 213700 187 Service 4x4 warning message. I have put off for 2 years by keeping transfer case in Auto. Message was only displayed in 2wd mode. Problem is well known encoder motor sensor in the transfer case. I replaced the entire encoder motor. 
Nov 2012 221000 11 SES light came on. Had codes read and tool reported MAF error. Forum search suggested cleaning MAF screen first. Bought MAF sensor cleaner at AutoZone. Light has not come on for a couple weeks now. Truck feels more responsive as well. 
Jan 2013 225000 100 P0332 code - engine knock sensor. Known problem if water gets under intake manifold from washing/splashing in this 5.3 motor. 
Apr 2013 227000 900 Tie rod ends replaced. Not bad since they were originals. Front differential seals leaking and actuator leakng.
