TrueDelta Reviews the Seat Room and Comfort of the 2012 GMC Terrain

2012 GMC Terrain Seat Room and Comfort: Pros
YearComment
2013 The GMC Terrain's long wheelbase also pays off with noticeably more rear seat leg room than in competitors. In fact, there's a little more combined legroom in the first two rows than in the far larger Yukon XL, and a few more inches than in the larger Acadia. Sound like enough space to fit a third row? Perhaps, but GM opted not to offer one. The Terrain is thoroughly compact in width. The larger GMCs remain much better options for transporting three adults in the back seat. They're also better for carrying cargo. The Terrain's cargo floor is long, but its also high and narrow, and the second-row seats don't fold flat. see full GMC Terrain review

2007 Honda CR-V Seat Room and Comfort: Cons
YearBody/PowertrainComment
2008 4dr SUV 166-horsepower 2.4L I4
5-speed automatic AWD
In typical Japanese Small Car fashion, the front seats have very little thigh support for a 5ft 10inch person. The back support and position can be quite painful over 500 or more miles. This marred the ownership experience see full Honda CR-V review

2008 4dr SUV 166-horsepower 2.4L I4

Roomy enough, but materials feel cheap. Bench is very thin and hard on long trip. Good leg room, but overall not as nicely done as the VW Tiguan. see full Honda CR-V review
2008 4dr SUV 166-horsepower 2.4L I4

Seats need another couple of inches of depth to provide anyone over six feet tall with proper thigh support. A little on the firm side after a couple of hours. Could also be improved with better lateral support. Not a deal breaker unless you expect a Volvo type lounger. see full Honda CR-V review
