car will not go into gear, both dealers where it was towed said it would require a new transmission
had transmission specialist look at the transmission and they said it was a internal defect transmission would need to be replaced that Chrysler would not sell parts for the repair.
as required by Chrysler it had to be taken to a chrysler dealership, Dealership said they could try to changed the control modular but that did not work and again I was told Transmission has to be replaced,
cvt transmission is unreliable I will not ever purchase another one, and will not ever purchase a jeep
CVT transmission whistling. Replaced under warranty. Power Transfer Unit leaking after transmission repair. Seals and cover replaced. Repair done under warranty.
Transfer case lost lubricant and was damaged. Needed complete replacement as repair not possible.
The Brake module would occasionally fail causing the transmission interlock to prevent shifting out of park. This could and was successfully over ridden by a manual over ride switch until the dealer could replace faulty module.
Gear shifter does not seat all the way into 3rd and 4th gears randomly. Because it does not seat into gear fully the gears grind when the clutch is let out and then the shifter falls back to the nuetral position.
