Handling
Off road ability, able to explore places where cars and 2wd trucks can never go.
Feature availability
Aftermarket products avaliable to allow the owner to build the Jeep to suit your needs and have the style/function that you want.
Exterior styling
Ability to drive a convertable and even take the doors off if you choose to.
Tires
Large tires soak up pot hole impacts and poor road surface. Jeeps do not have low profile tires that transmit bumps straight to the driver and passengers.
Driving position & visibility
All Jeeps have large window openings that are lower for passengers to easily look out of. Small kids can easily look out window, drivers can easily look out window to negotiage obstacles when off roading.
Fuel economy
Getting 20 mpg is a very rare occurance that causes celebration.
Handling
A unlimited wrangler is actually a fairly large sized vehicle, so if your accustomed to small sportscars a JKU will seam tall and large. Suspension will not make quick lane changes or turns feel precise and sharp.
Quietness
Soft top is designed to be removed quickly so the roof is lightweight when compared to car roofs, therefore the road noise will be there. You can still talk on a phone while driving down the highway but it is considerably louder than a $28k comparable passenger car or truck.
Feature availability
You will find something to purchase for your Jeep with the vast number of companies out there making aftermarket products. If your not careful you can find yourslef spending lots of money on your Jeep.
If you expect the quality, quietness, and handling of a beautiful Audi, then a Jeep is not for you. If you need 38mpg because you drive alot on the highways then don't look at a Wrangler. If you work or live in muddy areas then a Jeep is the perfect answer. If snow, or lack of paved roads is your environment then a Jeep is a great answer. If you live near mountains with awesome scenery then you really would benefit from a Wrangler to see what you have been missing. If you want to drive with a smile and be part of the Jeep comunity then a Wrangler is a perfect vehicle.
