The torque curve is pretty flat with a bump at its peak around 4000 RPM, so you'll get nearly the same pulling power everywhere on the tach. 2011 Mazda Mazda2 Pros and Cons A member in Illinois, United States 6300 redline is kind of low especially when the power really comes in above 3500 RPM. This requires frequent shifting. Clutch is really light and has a cushioning feel in the bottom 1/3 so it takes a bit to get used to. Could use an extra 20 hp/lb-ft. |
