O2 Sensor malfunction.
Exhaust Gas Recirculator (EGR) valve threw a P0401 code. Removed, cleaned, and reinstalled.
Replaced fuel pump. OEM turbo seals leaking around 4K miles, took 2 trips in June to get it fixed. Visit 1 - replaced fuel pump, 2 days later still smoking. Visit 2 - 14 days in shop, new Hitachi turbo and gaskets. Problem solved.
TSB for emissions issue. Check engine light came on, which cuts power to the turbo. They said it was running rich, but never stated a reason. I think they just reset it, but the problem never came back, so it was fixed.
