32000 mi US $640 Axle needed to be replaced. The 2003 model year cars made prior to 1/1/2013 had faulty "soft" axles. This is a known issue you can search on Google. Horrible job by Ford to not issue a recall for this. 
90300 US $750 Rear differential housing sprung a leak and took rear end bearings with it. Replace and repacked bearings.
