The car still had the original all plastic unit which included a plastic coolant crossover which were prone to rupturing as they aged. The intake was replaced with the updated design with an aluminum crossover and is not prone to failure. | ||

The pulleys seemed to be worn with age and the old belt was showing signs of cracking. |
