Introduction

This has been an overall very reliable and fun to drive truck. I have owned it since new and put over 57,000 miles on it in the 6.5 years of ownership. No mechanical problems to date.

Why the 2008 Nissan Frontier?

Driving position & visibility

great that you sit up high and have a good view all around. I have removed headrests and seats in the rear to add storage area and increase visibility.

Reliability & durability

Has had no mechanical issues since purchased new. Now with 57,000 miles on it and 6.5 years of ownership. Very reliable.

Front seat support & comfort

I love the front seats, good leg room and I am 6 foot 1 inch tall. Seat material on my XE was rather rough so I put on seat covers that had a softer material and that felt more comfortable.

Fuel economy

Averaging 22mpg for th full 57,000 miles I have driven. Winter mileage is less and summer is more Using winter snow and ice tires in winter months. Hwy tires in summer months.

Exterior styling

attractive exterior styling.

Why Not the 2008 Nissan Frontier?

Handling

Has a wide or large turning radius which can limit manuverability in certain tight turning situations. Liveable though.

Conclusion

I compared this to the Tacoma prior to purchase and felt this has cheaper pricing and a better ride than the Tacoma.
