2007 Toyota Matrix Pros and Cons A member in Ontario, Canada Easy access to cargo area,& window hatch opens w/o opening entire rear door. Many built-in attachment points for cargo tie-down straps. Front passenger seat folds down to allow transportation of lengthy cargo (8 ft). Rear seats fold down individually. |
|
2006 Toyota Matrix Pros and Cons A member in Massachusetts, United States Marketed as a small station wagon but the rear cargo area is too small for family use. Plastic interior allows cargo to slide too much. squeaks and rattles everywhere. due to terrible gearing (above) the 1500lb published towing capacity is not possible. |

2004 Toyota Matrix Pros and Cons gary.roach The station-wagon styling and fold-down seats permit me to carry 8-foot lumber. I installed a Draw-Tite hitch, and the car is rated to pull 1,500 pounds - although I will never pull more than half that amount. |
