Nissan's VQ engines just seem to be thirsty - if you commute in heavy traffic, especially for short trips, don't be surprised at 15.5-16 mpg tanks. 7-speed shiftable automatic AWD		 With such a large displaced engine and so much power you will find that you will have so-so mpg if you drive mainly in the city like I do. Especially if you are a "spirited" driver like I tend to be. I am averaging about 14-16mpg 95% city. On the highway its a different story. 6-speed manual RWD		 While not terrible, ~20mpg is by no means phenomenal. Relatively comparable cars get ~23-27mpg, but typically also have smaller engines which explains a good portion of the difference. see full Infiniti G review
