Minor coolant leak discovered on lower radiator hose bleeder screw. Leak came from a small pin hole in the base of the rubber nipple that the screw is attached to. Had to replace hose to fix leak. Replaced hose, 2 clams, and coolant. |

When I had the car towed to the shop to locate the radiator leak they were unable to start the car because the key would not turn past position #2 and was jammed. Replaced ignition key lock cylinder to fix issue. Radiator cracked and failed. Had towed to shop to confirm diagnosis. Decided to replace radiator myself with a genuine Volvo radiator. Refilled coolant with 50/50 mix of distilled water and genuine Volvo coolant. |
