My engine has a variable valve timing sprocket on the exhaust camshaft. This VVT sprocket started to fail and had to be replaced. Wife came home with car making terrible clicking noise. I wasn't familiar with it so I took it in. Exhaust cam variable valve timing sprocket failed making a terrible noise. Shop replaced sprocket and relevant seals that had to be disturbed by the job.

When I had the car towed to the shop to locate the radiator leak they were unable to start the car because the key would not turn past position #2 and was jammed. Replaced ignition key lock cylinder to fix issue. Radiator cracked and failed. Had towed to shop to confirm diagnosis. Decided to replace radiator myself with a genuine Volvo radiator. Refilled coolant with 50/50 mix of distilled water and genuine Volvo coolant.
