Dec 2017183000 miUS $59 | Passenger side outer cv joint boot failed and opened up. Removed and replaced the right side driveshaft.
Jan 2018184000 miUS $90 | Engine had developed a miss with a drop in fuel mileage. Removed and replaced pcv valve, spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap, rotor button and performed compression test. Compressions were between 165 - 174 psi. Not bad for an engine with 185,000 miles. Miss is gone and mileage back up to where it should be.
Mar 2018187000 miUS $350 | Right front axle boot tore. Replaced both driveshafts. Also, while suspension was somewhat apart, replaced both front struts and coil springs and the rear shocks. Wow, what a difference. The rough ride had sorta sneaked up on us and we didn't recognize how bad it had gotten. The ac compressor started ticking any time the compressor clutch was engaged. The bearing was starting to fail. Removed and replaced the compressor, filter and dryer. No more ticking and cold as ice. The filter was nasty. |
