Sometimes the battery appears as dead, no pilots lights, no radio, nothing. The problem was some type of corrosion in the BCM connectors. Cleaned it and the problem disappeared. Suddenly, without warning, the low beam headlights stopped working. Light bulbs are fine. Position lights and high beam do work. Apparently the switch lever is OK. The mechanic thinks it is the BCM acting up. Decided not to replace it yet. |
