Just thought this was note worthy. The Service Engine light came on. I first check fluids. Surprisingly, I found the oil was just over 2 qts down! I cannot understand why no oil or other light came on long before this. Very, very slow leak.

10/10 took to replaced back tires as they wore thin only in the center-Fortera. But also diagnosing for where the oil is slowly leaking (only at high speeds) Drips under the middle of the motor sometimes? No exhaust smoke detected. After several mechanics have looked at the issue of oil 'sometimes' being over a quart low after a long trip, then city driving, the last mechanic believes it is just bypassing the rings at Interstate speeds.
Dec 2016

192000 mi
Engine light code read by AutoZone: "too cold" condition (bad temp sensor?). But when the electric driver seat forward/back position button started working again(upon a start), the light went out. Issue over a month, no restriction found.
Mar 2017

Sensors seem to produce false display messages indicating repairs needed that are not. The secondary service engine icon comes on for unknown reasons and goes back off randomly. So there is no way to determine its origin. The last code check said the engine coolant was not hot enough... Makes no sense unless it would produce some signs that the sensor was bad, its not.
May 2018

198000 mi

Replaced Power Steering Cooler and front bumper cover clips. plus two bolts that broke upon removal. Upon reassembling, I found that a part of the bumper cover that was lying loose and appeared to have slid apart was actually broken. It is a part that clips inside the bumper cover and is held by 5 tabs. All tabs were completely separated from the bumper. I am using a plastic glue compound and hoping it allows me to re-install the cover after drive testing the car tomorrow. I have never seen clamps on the power steering hoses such as these. I could not hammer them back into place after replacing the cooler. They refused to slide over top of the line. I could have taken the line back off, put the clamps on the line, then try to slide them on that way. But it was just too hard and the space was too limited for me. So I just used a standard clamp and can only hope it holds under the pressure of the system.
