Brought vehicle in for new tires and annual state safety inspection. Found three of the four ball joints bad - would not pass inspection. Replaced bother lower control arms/ball joints and drivers side upper ball joint. Repair complicated by the fact the lower ball joints are riveted to the lower control arms. Shop ended up replacing both lower control arms (w/new ball joints). Parts not in stock or available for two days.

Sway bar end link bushings wore out and were replaced with parts from rockauto.com These wore out fast, but I suspect this is due to the fact that they were cheap aftermarket parts. I did this same repair about 1 year ago.
