2007 Mercury Mariner 4dr SUV

133-horsepower 2.3L I4 Hybrid CVT AWD

US $300
The rear pass. fender completely rusted out where the shock tower mounts to the mental fender. The undercoating that was used prematurely deteriorates from the factory. This is a massive known problem with Escapes and Mariners. I was able to buy a shock support bracket and bolted the new shock to the frame and cut the rust out and repaired it with fiberglass resin. The drivers side started rusting also and I had to patch that. I saved thousands of dollars by not taking it to a body shop and getting new fenders welded in on both sides.

Slide mechanism on moonroof snapped so moonroof wouldn't close on its own. Bought replacement parts from tgautomotive.com for 143 dollars and fixed the part on own. Replacement parts worked!
