Cooling system. A persistent small leak in the radiator somewhere near it's center right side. Replaced radiator with a premium one bought online. Usually a such a repair is easy... just take off a bit of shielding on the top, a few screws and lift out the rad. BUT with the EX35, we had to get at everything from the front... remove the entire front grill, cross bars, remove the A/C lines and evaporator TOO! (had the CFCs / Freon captured by my mechanic for $C45 (friendly to the environment!). Both the A/C compressor from last year and the radiator are working fine after many months. Have to recharge the A/C soon... summer is coming. Happy I have the evac pump, gauges and freon already. |
