114700 mi C $200 |
Clunking noise on the driver side at the front. Paid around 50$ for diagnostics at a shop. They suggested replacing the sway-bar links as they were original. They also suggested replacing the struts (or at least performing a strut maintenance kit repair - 50% cheaper) as the struts are due for replacement as per mileage. I replaced the links myself - about a 2-hour job with all hassles around it (the replacement itself was more like a 30-min job but I was missing some lubricants, so needed to get those). The struts are still old and I do believe need some attention. |
