I was told there was no problem or they could not replicate it & they all do that. called Ford and told them I have had this SUV in the repair shop 5 times for the same thing and it still doesn't shift right. It gets stuck in gear. Slipsout

2009 Mercury Mariner 4dr SUV

240-horsepower 3.0L V6 6-speed automatic FWD

12000 mi Right front axle replaced by Ford to fix a leak in the axle seal. They tried to just replace the seal on two occasions and failed. Ford authorized the whole axle replacement. 
22700 mi Slow to engage gear from stop or accel out of corners. Dealer topped off fluid. A week later I pulled the battery cable to reset and the problem is gone for now. Fluid was a bit low, I suspect may have 1/2 shaft leak problem. 
29000 mi Slow transmission leak, TSB called for replacing filler tube/dipstick with updated part. So far, no leak.
