Car would not start with each try. It would sometimes take up to 5 tries for the car to start. Because the key is a fob and is electrical it was making a bad connection and the key module needed replaced.
98809 mi Safety Recall, Wireless Ignition Node Receiver. Car would beep the horn, lock doors, and flash headlights any time fobic was within 20 feet of the car. Took it to dealership, who said they had fixed the problem by changing WINR. Drove 85 miles home and as soon as I got out of the car, the aforementioned problems returned. Called dealership about taking it back, because the problem was not fixed. They said this time a diagnostic fee would be charged despite the maintenance supervisor saying that it was good to go (in other words, fixed). I wrapped the fobic in aluminum foil, and then placed it in an Altoids box...which fixed the problem. Was a pain to wrap and unwrap, but, after about three months...it quit the beep, lock, flash problem, and now, another three months later, I don't have the problems. Oh, and, I do not use the trunk lock button nor the keyless entry...I do it all OLD SCHOOL and use the entry/trunk key.
57940 mi Cylinder #2 misfire - heavy leak down on intake valves
62620 mi

C $150
Knock sensor was not installed properly by dealer during warranty work - warranty now expired - replaced knock sensor. Also replaced rocker assembly drivers side due to lash adjuster noise.
