Air conditioner controls could not be turned on, this includes the heater functions. The recommendation was to replace blower motor and ECU. I refused repair due to estimate of $1400. I purchased and replaced both components from third party and found that this was not the problem. The problem was rain water entering the cabin above the blower motor due plastic cover off under the hood. The water was under the front passenger seat. This water influenced a control module under the passenger seat. The solution was to dry the interior of the car. That's what I did with a heating fan. After the module was dry, the air conditioner and heater works again. |
