Climate control fan failed to run at all on a 90+ late Friday afternoon in July. Diagnosed as a bad blower motor resistor. $135 from Ford, delivered Monday. Also replaced cabin air filter for $25 while I was at it.
The car is a 2011 and the battery was original. Noticed that it was starting harder. Also had a dead battery after sitting for a few days, dirty terminals and a cracked case may have been the culprit. Decided to replace it before winter.
Sync module replaced for problems with phone. Sync module was replaced by dealer.
blend door motor clicking, replaced under warranty.
battery had gone dead twice. Battery tested low charge but good at dealer. Car needs to be driven more often according to dealer. No charge for the diagnostic.

Fuel gauge not accurate. Dealer reprogrammed computer. Blis (Blind Spot Indicator) not available at times. Dealer reprogrammed computer. Have only had car back 1 day so unable to know if problems will occur again.

a/c seems to cycle off and then back on every 10 seconds or so. I cannot get the a/c to run constantly even though the cabin temp is above 85 degrees.
Back in dealership for same problem. A/C cycling problem. I've just accepted the fact that this particular A/C system on the 2011 Ford Taurus is (normal). I don't like it though. Its still not what a normal auto system should be.
Thr dealer keeps saying the system is operating normally. The vent temp is never below 45-40 degrees. Thre compressor cuts on and off every 10 seconds or so. Contacted FORD and they want to car back to the dealer. Taking back in .
took the car to another Ford dealer. The reflashed the PCM. Other than that, thats all they did. I still believe the A/C system doesn't operate right. The compressor still cuts off when I brake the car at stop lights. Ford gave me an ESP.
A small motor that opens and shuts a damper in the vent system failed. I could not get any warm air out because the vent was closed. Ford issued me an ESP but was told the vent motor was not covered by the ESP.....go figure..
Right rear brake light replaced . I
Rear backup camera was defective and replaced under Ford extended warranty.
