Engine ran rough set code. 2 spark plugs were extreemly fouled. Replaced plugs engine runs perfect. This may be related to cylinder deactivation. Oil consumption has jumped way up.
53800 mi Reported oil consumption problem to dealer. There is a TSB on this, it relates to the V8-V4 acive fuel management system. They replaced a valve cover baffle. So far so good oil consumption dropped.
61000 mi Oil consumption remained excessive. Dealer replaced the pistons and rings. This a a known problem for gently driven trucks. The more time in V4 mode the sooner the problem shows up. Carbon builds and oil consumption climbs.

The oil pressure sensor failed and showed no oil pressure while running. The sensor was replaced and on the drive home of about 6 miles the oil pressure again showed low as I got home. This problem was solved by changing the oil. For reference, the engine is a 5.3 liter with the active fuel management. After talking to several knowledgeable folks I'm going to look into getting that disable due to the problems it seems to cause.
20000 mi Low speed stumble/hesitation with light throttle. Dealer found bad spark plug, replaced.
