2011 Nissan LEAF

Engine not specified

7000 mi Nissan acknowledges that several hundred vehicles are burdened with this issue, yet REFUSE to fix, unless owner whines, complains, bitches, moans, gripes, and cajoles corporate into fixing it. Although I LOVE the car, I HATE the company.

The main junction box that handles electricity distribution for the LEAF failed, cause unknown. The dealer was told by Nissan to replace many components of the electrical distribution system. The first replacement junction box was also faulty. The repair was actually much more expensive but Nissan picked up about $6000 of the bill even though the car was out of warranty. I was very happy with Kiefer Nissan of Corvallis for negotiating that on my behalf.
