17300 mi Tranny noise was finally found to come from a faulty cardan axle, the one connecting the front differential to the front left wheel. Replacement part was unavailable, therefore another trip will be required. 
22320 mi Left front cardan axle became replaced under warranty. Axle caused pulsating, grinding noise when coasting at around 50 mph. 
26760 mi Tranny noise has come back. Dealer confirmed that it wasn't normal to have this noise when coasting or slowing down. Due to me going abroad, detailed inspection at dealer is postponed to May 2015.
