Replace motor and transmission body mounts |
48824 mi US $120 |
Problems were fast idle, or low idle with stalling, and Check Engine light (MIL). Codes were for lean mixture. I misdiagnosed problem as caused by throttle body, so ordered that part. Before it arrived I found info online pointing to fuel vapor canister purge valve so also ordered that part. Replacing the purge valve cured the problem, but also replaced throttle body since I already had it. Car runs fine now. This repair also seems to have reduced clutch chatter/shudder (DPS6 6-speed automatic) during shifts - we will see how that lasts.. Manifold vacuum is not used for any function by the transmission, so I don't know if it's coincidence or not. |
58000 mi | Back pressure wasn't allowing a quick and normal fill up |
82800 mi US $40 |
water pump replacement. I performed it myself with normal tools. |

8/30 returned car to service as problem returned, but worse. Hearing a slight rattling sound in engine when car was bucking and jerking. Almost lost power several times on way back to dealer. 9/2 car still in for service. 220 miles on car. |
22000 mi | I had taken my new-to-me car in for its first oil-change at one of the quick-change type places. They said it had an oil leak from the rear main seal. Dealer confirmed this diagnoses but did not have the seal in-stock. Dealer was going to replace the rear main seal on my car to fix an oil leak. Turns out they didn't have a tool they needed to complete the repair. Dealer replaced rear main seal to fix an oil leak, changed the oil and rotated the tires. |
64000 mi US $73 |

11000 mi | Vehicle exhibited engine flare on decel. TSB resolved issue reflashed MFT with latest software. |
3300 mi | Dealer performed TSB 11-10-2 to address low-speed transmission shudders, shifting flares into 2nd and the occasional tendency for the transmission to refuse to downshift upon deceleration. |
