6000 mi | Front dashboard squeak that cannot be replicated by dealer. Only happens when ambient temp is below 50 degrees. |
7000 mi | Plastic cowl that rests above windshield creaked; became worse in cold weather. Some form of tape was added between the cowl and glass. |
11400 mi | Continued plastic squeaking/creaking from windshield cowl.Tape was removed and reapplied, which reduced, but did not eliminate the issue. Noise varies with outside temperatures. |
19200 mi | Creaking noises from plastic cowl that rests on windshield (worse in cold temperatures). Tape installed in previous attempt to resolve issue was removed. New tape/foam material applied to secure cowl. |
21000 mi | the Infiniti dealer replaced a trim seal around the door and the problem was eliminated |

The sunroof has a drain that has a plastic part. The part failed and water was penetrating the cabin. This is not covered by warranty. However, the dealer and Infiniti covered this under goodwill; and I paid a nominal amount. The repair itself was very time consuming but the part itself was rather inexpensive. This to me seems more like a manufacturing defect |
32000 mi | Water penetration into cabin. Problem lies in sunroof drains that become blocked. This is a problem noted in various YouTube videos and G37 owner forums. I was able to get this covered by virtue of an extended warranty Arguably the terms of the warranty do not cover water leaks. However I was able to induce the dealer to repair. This requires replacement of the drain hose (only the two front hoses; although there are also two in the rear of the sunroof opening) and the drain hose grommet which passes through the firewall and allows water to drain to the ground. This problem is very disappointing to me. I like the car very much. This is a design defect and Infiniti should be embarrassed. Our other car, a 2004 Lexus RX330, has a sunroof and we have never had a problem. |
190000 mi | Water entering car and pooling on passenger floormat. Unable to find source. They blew ac lines and sunroof drains free but it was not that. |
12200 mi | Bad headliner rattle. Dealer provide loaner and fixed it |
218-horsepower 2.5L V6 7-speed shiftable automatic AWD
25800 mi | Windshield noises, fixed by dealer - they installed some sort of felt liner underneath the windshield and the noise is gone. Prior to the fix, it was particularly noisy on cold days. |
11000 mi | passenger door squeaks when opened all the way |
15500 mi | Drivers seat squeak |
18600 mi | Seat squeaking |

14000 mi | Rust on chrome exhaust tips |
37200 mi | Rear licence plate screws were rusted onto back plate and I could not remove rear plate. Apparently this is a known fault failure by Infiniti! |
