2015 Honda Civic 4dr Sedan

143-horsepower 1.8L I4 CVT FWD

68000 mi

US $35
Replaced air intake boot. Dealer wanted $250, the part only cost $20 and it took 30 minutes.
35981 mi An information warning came on that said "Tighten Fuel Cap." It had been at least a week since the last fill-up. I shut off the engine, removed the fuel cap and then put it back on, twisting it to hear the recommended three clicks. After starting and stopping the engine, and running a few errands, I brought it into the dealer with 19 miles left on the original warranty. The assistant service manager ran diagnostics which said Evaporative Leak and then cleared the warning. He said to drive it 100 miles and see if the warning returns. I asked for written verification that I had visited for the problem but he said running diagnostics and resetting the warning would not require a service department invoice. If this comes up after 19 miles, I'll be out of warranty.
