This was a few weeks ago. We decided to live with it as most functions we use can be done from the buttons on the steering wheel.

Car would not start, displaying VDC disabled, hill hold disabled, hold brake to start (even while holding). Brake switch (the one under the dash that turns on/off the brake lights) was faulty causing C0054-5 code. It started after a few minutes each time and I took it to the dealer ASAP. Dealer replaced with with the new 83311FJ001 switch, per TSB and cleared codes.
