2014 4dr Wagon 173-horsepower 2.5L H4
6-speed manual AWD
Purchased a 2014 Outback Premium in late December 2013 to replace our 2001 Outback. We've had the car 2.5 months, and put 3500 miles on it so far. We love it! Parked next to the old one, it is about the same length, a little bit wider maybe, but about 4-5 inches taller. The additional height makes the interior of the 2014 feel much more spacious. You really notice the difference when driving-- height of eye and visibility is better in the 2014. We're also getting 27 MPG combined in the new car, compared to 23 in the old one. full 2014 Subaru Outback review
2010 4dr Wagon 170-horsepower 2.5L H4
6-speed shiftable CVT AWD
This is our 7th Subaru and 2nd Outback. All have proved durable, reliable and safe. AWD is a real plus even though we deal with rain not snow. Why seven? I have four kids. All drive Subies. Our driveway hosts, Outback, Baja, WRX, and Legacy. full 2010 Subaru Outback review
2010 4dr Wagon 170-horsepower 2.5L H4
6-speed shiftable CVT AWD
Have never failed me. Rate of repair was nil. Only had to do the basics, brakes, tires, oil and gas. full 2010 Subaru Outback review
2008 4dr Wagon 170-horsepower 2.5L H4
4-speed shiftable automatic AWD
Previous vehicle was a 2000 Subaru Forester - owned for 8 yrs / 162K mi. Only two unscheduled maintenance events during ownership, one of which was a factory-issued repair notice to add a lubricant to the coolant for the head gaskets. full 2008 Subaru Outback review
2002 4dr Wagon 165-horsepower 2.5L H4
4-speed automatic AWD
I find Subarus to be especially tough and reliable. An old Impreza wagon saw me through college and three Michigan/Ohio winters. full 2002 Subaru Outback review
