2015 Toyota 4Runner 4dr SUV

270-horsepower 4.0L V6 5-speed shiftable automatic RWD

48000 mi The screen on my head unit (Entune system) completely froze up and was stuck on the Toyota logo. Would not allow the radio to work or anything that the screen cobtrols. Apparently this is a known problem. Dealer said the entire unit needs to be replaced (an $800 repair) But my warranty is out and I'm pretty ticked off that a two year old Toyota is having this problem.
76000 mi Door lock actuator on drivers side door went out.
30200 mi Entertainment system would reboot from time to time, received a firmware update and it seems to have helped. No problems to report since then.

270-horsepower 4.0L V6 5-speed shiftable automatic 4WD, part-time w/low range

69000 mi The Entune Radio required a major computer update. this was required to the fact the Map/GPS would just turn off in the middle of a road trip. Also the Bluetooth function completely disappeared. It had to be reloaded.
45000 mi Vent fan on low makes noise upon cold start. Leaves get in the blower fan and make noise. Similar problem on a 2010 Tacoma.
33000 mi Media center and navigation system failure. The dealership updated the system software. Problem was resolved.
40500 mi radio/navigation system reprogrammed because the radio would occasionally "reboot" while driving
28000 mi Section of the touchscreen went out and radio was replaced
19000 mi Head unit would often reboot. Head unit was removed and replaced with new.
25000 mi I was having issues with the infotainment system crashing and rebooting while driving the vehicle. It was found the software was out of date, so they updated the software and the system functions properly as of now.
