2016 Honda Accord

Engine not specified

2900 mi Every time the car was turned off, the clock reset itself to 12AM. Honda spent 5 hrs diagnosing it and determined the entire $895(Parts) + $150(Labor) 'Infotainment' system needed replacement which was covered under warranty.

20000 mi Passenger side, power seat. Diagnosis was that the motor was weak. Replacement parts ordered.
20200 mi New seat motor installed. Possibly other seat parts as well.

7000 mi AC blowing hot
24000 mi Nav screen went blank.
27000 mi Nav screen went blank. Second time happening. Honda unplugged and attached the battery to reset the system as they weren't able to find any other problem. Also promised an update for the second time but not available yet. Nav system screen quit working. Dealership did a hard reset by unplugging batter cable and reattaching. 3rd attempt.

US $300
During the pandemic, I let the vehicle sit too long without driving it. After that, I had trouble getting the battery to hold a charge so I replaced it. I choose to put in a fancy AGM battery vs. a traditional lead-acid battery as it was more powerful, lighter, and came with a much better warranty. I also paid almost double the price. An experiment.
10000 mi LED DRL failure. Replaced entire headlight module on right side. Battery died after 14 months
12500 mi Driver's side LED DRL failed. Entire light module replaced.
39000 mi Passenger DRL failed. Replaced under extended warranty.
18000 mi Battery started losing charge randomly at 18 months old. Replaced for free at Honda Dealer. Bad luck...otherwise, car is great! No oil burned.
5300 mi remotes not working properly. Not connecting to car (unlocking, starting) consistently and trunk not sensing remote. A fix has not been found. Battery replacement was the only attempt made. The problem was observed and recognized. Update, July 2017: Honda is clueless. I'll have to go through a long process of analysis, diagnostics, incremental trials... so living with it. Until I get really bored or motivated
21000 mi Driver's side LED running lights out/failure. Will take to dealer when have time and try to get replaced / fixed under extended warranty. I've seen other same year accords driving around with the exact same issue.
10000 mi SRS computer error

53400 mi After driving car for 60 days, it suddenly had no electricity throughout vehicle. Battery was checked as were fuses and all came back in good order. My mechanic eliminated the starter and alternator and doubted that it was the neutral safety switch. I went back to the dealer where I purchased the car (used lot) and they took TOTAL control of the situation. The salesman who sold me the car sent a tow truck and just took care of it as if it were his personal car. Toyota of Newnan's service is fantastic, but service after the sale is even better! The problem turned out to be the ground wire leading from the engine bay to the cabin had "gone bad" is what I was told and it was replaced at no charge. My car runs just as it should once again. Thanks Toyota of Newnan!
1000 mi Backup camera not focused and grainy video

10000 mi Tire pressure sensor warning light
32000 mi Passenger headlight--running light LED assembly replaced under warranty.
11000 mi Battery failed to start car. Charged battery, took to dealer. Dealer checked battery, found it to have a dead cell, and replaced with new battery at no cost to me.
15000 mi Battery replaced under warranty
29950 mi

US $465
XM antenna was replaced
31000 mi Front Drivers side LCD DRL burned out
27000 mi Tire pressure monitor system malfunction, unit reports low tire pressure. Tires are set at exactly correct pressure. Passive sensor malfunction suspected. Complete system reset was all they could do.
94000 mi Recall stage 2 of 2. Battery monitor sensor replaced by TSB notice and recall. The new sensor monitor is water proof, the old one was not and would short out and cause a fire. Kinda funny that the sensor that monitors the battery to prevent fires... causes a fire itself.
